We had an ice storm come through here a couple of weeks after the last ice storm. This one was different from the last one though. This one everything was covered in ice. We had freezing rain for about a day. It was VERY slick outside.
The car window was just a sheet of ice.I had to go to work in the morning and it took a while for it to melt enough so I could scrape it. The trees were bent over and breaking from all the ice . Some of the branches that were breaking sounded like gun shots when they broke. Our dog, Jessie, was barking like crazy at all the breaking and creaking of the ice and trees. We never lost power but others lost power for days.
We didn't really play outside too much with this storm. By the time it had stopped freeze raining it was warming up that all the ice in the tall Pine trees were falling down. It was a little dangerous outside. We had our ice storms for the year. We are ready for Spring.
