I kept wanting to post something this month but not much news worthy stuff has happened lately. We have just been going on with our lives. Then last night we had a pretty bad storm. We knew it was going to be windy but not as windy as it turned out to be. About 12:45 David woke me up telling me he was going outside because he thought the house was falling apart. So I jump out of bed to go check with him. There were 3 pieces of siding that had come off and two of them were still hanging on and banging the house. That is on the wall of our bedroom, so that is why we heard it so well. So David pulls them off so they aren't making noise anymore. It is now starting to rain and it is still VERY windy. We walk around the house to make sure no other ones were coming off. They weren't so we went back into the house.
About 45 minutes later we ended up getting the kids up to sleep in the hall. If you know me I am TERRIFIED of storms, especially wind storms. So we get all the kids in the hall and are getting settled down and then we heard a loud bang sound. It turned out that our trampoline wanted to pretend it was an airplane and go flying. It was on this side of the pool. It flew over the pool
It then hit our porch and knocked down this section of railing
It landed right before it landed in our neighbors pond. It broke their fence and broke a few branches off a tree it is leaning on. I am glad it didn't land in the pond, that would of not been fun to get out. So if you can see it, the pool in the background, that is how far it flew. I am just glad it wasn't any worse than it was.
The wind calmed down around 3 at least enough for some of us to get some sleep.
