For Mother's Day this year Taelyn's 1st grade class did a muffins for mom program. All the mom's came, had muffins and fruit. They made us little paper corsages. Sang some songs and read some poems. Durring one song "You are my sunshine" they walked around and gave every mom a yellow rose. Every mom was teary eyed after that. It was a great way to start the mothers day weekend. 
Then on Mothers Day I got a basket full of North Carolina goodies from the kids and David. I got a UNC Hat, Pom Poms, a UNC plate to put on my car, and UNC cups, and other things. Later that afternoon we had all the family over (Mom and Dad, Jeff and his family, and Steven and his his family) for our annual Mothers day Steaks. Very Yummy. The guys plan it all and cook the meal. It was a good day.
